Statups Cambodia

Startups Cambodia is a group of small business initiatives that link through FEC Cambodia focusing on creating independence and sustainability for the school and the Thnal Bek community. The initial startups inject a small amount of money to provide essential equipment to start an individual business and supports salary for the first 12 months. The average salary is $1-$2 a day and building better futures has committed to fund $60 per month for the first 12 months. The project commenced in April 2016 with Sewing the Seeds Cambodia, Trezall Maie, Sreylin's Designs Cambodia, Embroidery Magic Cambodia and now Buttons Cambodia. Currently the products are sold in Australia but in the near future hope to set up a shop in Cambodia attracting the tourist market. The best part of this story is that 100% of sales goes back to the individual startup.
